Water Filtration Plants

Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation

The Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation is always at the forefront of serving humanity. It is making a positive impact on the lives of the underprivileged people of Pakistan.
Pure water is said to be the World’s first and foremost medicine and is undoubtedly a great blessing of Allah. Unfortunately, 2/3rd of the Pakistani population does not have access to clean drinking water. As a result, many life-threatening health issues have surfaced due to the use of contaminated water.
For this reason, the Abdul Aleem Khan Foundation stepped in and started the Water-Filtration Plants project, which became operational on June 5, 2016.
The Foundation has worked extremely hard, and it is clear from the fact that more than 85 modern water filtration plants have been successfully established in Lahore and more than 45 modern water filtration plants have been installed in other impoverished areas of Punjab to date. They can supply one million liters of pure and hygienic water on a daily basis.

SANITATION MAINTENANCE

This project is being headed by Brigadier Khalid Bashir whereas, Mr. Kamran Bhatti assists him. He and his group ensure that there arise no issues when using the filtration plants.
The Sanitation Team is responsible for regularly maintaining the filtration plants.
In addition, the carbon, sand, and arsenic media are regularly changed, repaired, and backwashed by the maintenance team.
The feedback of the residents is the most important aspect for us and our team makes sure to listen to all the complaints lodged by the people. Our team tries to resolve all the complaints as quickly as possible.
Water lab tests are performed quarterly by the Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources.
Mr. Abdul Aleem Khan is kept informed of such reports. Since clean water denotes a healthy lifestyle and water is essential to life, it is our aim to provide our impoverished citizens with safe and pure drinking water.
